Outbreak Freefly presents 'The Outbreak' This 40 minute epic deserves to be referred to not just as a video, but a movie - it's a beautiful piece of work. It chronicles what's been a pretty big year for Mikey and his team mates Andy, Pablo and Jim, having taken part in the European Record, the World Championships, the UK Championships (where they came out on top) and generally doing a shit load of skydiving. It's a big download, but well worth it. Enjoy. |

26th February 2006 - Sky Tag and Omnifly 2005 The first of these, Sky Tag has actually been with me for a while and I've been a bit slack getting it uploaded, but hey, at least it's here now I guess ;-p It's your usual good stuff by Mike - loads of nice sweeping shots of hardcore freefly. Well worth the bandwidth. The second vid's by Andy Newell going under the guise not of Euphoria but Omniflyers. Again not a new vid, it's been on skydivingmovies.com for some time now. Still, these are better quality than that version and in DivX format rather than Windows Media which a lot of people prefer. Anyway, it's the first of Andy's vids I've seen and it's great - went down a stom on skydivingmoves. So if you haven't seen it yet it comes highly recommended - full on freefly, loads of tracking and atmo (feet first too :-) and all set to an awesome mix of Benny Benassi's Satisfaction. 4th September 2005 - The European 28 Way Head Down Record A few months ago Freefly Euphoria joined some of the Worlds best freefliers in Empuriabrava to take part in the European 28 Way Head Down Record organised by Babylon and Aria. Mike Carpenter put this video together and sent it to me a few days ago. As far as I know this is a web exclusive - I'm yet to see any other footage of it anywhere yet. Videos by Freefly Euphoria Here's a selection of videos made by mostly by Mike Carpenter (the last one's by his team mate Andy Newell) from the Freefly Euphoria Freefly Team and head honcho at their School based at Skydive Spain in Seville (though formerly and at the time of this video Skydive Lillo near Madrid). The Tandem King one's of Mikey's brother when he went out Lillo and got the five star first jump experience. Also features British King of the 450ft swoop Brian Vacher and Andy Guller, one of the Swedish National 4-Way Team Lillo residents at the time. The Tandem Master is Pablo Hernandez Moll (who features in a lot of the other freefly videos and is now proving himself to be one of the world's best canopy pilots) - 18 years old, more than 2000 jumps and a string of ratings to his name...... bastard ;-) |
